How the whole thing happened…
Like many other specialties in the castle, the gallery concept was created thanks to a happy accident. We cooperated with the Bratislava Studio 3 in the creation of interiors, but the one the condition of our cooperation was that the team could not miss theater stage designers. Their idea of installing large-scale wallpapers from the chapel of the chateau has been gradually transformed and is only a proof that if enough creative and people who listen meet in a project, the result may be great.
Collaboration with the Vysočina Regional Gallery
The exceptional gallery concept is the result of a great cooperation with the Vysočina Regional Gallery, thanks to which visitors of Chateau Herálec can see large-scale installations of paintings and names like Mánes, Hons, Chitus, Kosárek, Preisler, and others are sure to guarantee an artistic experience. You are looking at the precise work of the old masters, watching the strokes of the brush, letting yourself with the colorful emotion of the image, you are drawn to it … Really extraordinary experience thanks to the possibility of confrontation with the originals.

The equipment of our rooms is really generous. You can use, for example, a gym with a training pad and instructional video, so that you can work out in the comfort of your suite. Especially ladies will surely be delighted with L’Occitane cosmetics. You will appreciate a bowl of fresh fruit and a selection of castle tea blends complemented with home-made honey from Mr. Brabenec of Herálec and dried slices of lemons.
The absolute experience is sleeping in Chateau Herálec. Enjoy it not only because of the calmness of the adjacent English park, the absolute darkness around, but also thanks to the excellent mattresses and the special pillow menu. We pay special attention to the quality of sleep at the castle.
